This project plan appeared in Woodworker's Journal Volume 6, Issue 2, Page 34. Mar/Apr 1982. If you're not turned on by yellow or black painted steel file cabinets (ugh!),
here's an attractive alternative: it's an oak and oak plywood cabinet with two
drawers, each sized for legal or smaller-sized documents. The joinery is simple
- well within the abilities of most woodworkers. Have your hardware (file hangers
and drawer slides) on hand before cutting any parts to size.
Cabinets
Approx: 24-1/4" x 15-5/8" x 28-3/8"
