This project plan appeared in Woodworker's Journal Volume 16, Issue 5, Page 34. Sep/Oct 1992. Truly an American classic, this very traditional colonial style hutch features
four drawers, two raised panel doors and a generous countertop on the base,
and three long shelves in the upper unit. The piece combines ample storage with
a large display area, and its joinery is an eclectic mix of nails, butts, rabbets,
tenons, miters and mortises. Add some scroll work, a few fancy moldings and
a couple of raised panels, and this becomes a thorough workout for every tool
in the shop.
Approx: 18-1/2'' deep x 69-1/2'' wide x 81-1/4'' high
