Fishing Net

This is a steelhead fishing net I made for a coworker's husband who fishes from a drift boat. Overall length was about 48." I bent and laminated red oak and cedar to balance strength and then laminated a thin layer or iron wood over that for extra strength and a design touch. The fish was inlayed with purple heart sanding dust and CA glued into place. I was even told that they landed a fish with it this weekend, so it didn't jinx the boat!

Thanks,
Aaron Nelson
